Born in Aosta, he articulated and characterized his work on visual communication by combining the activity of graphic designer with more specifically artistic experiences; all his graphic production expresses a highly recognizable style.

He has created countless posters for cultural and sporting occasions, Italian and foreign, but also brands, always poised between pictorial research and design. Member of ADI (Association for Industrial Design), AGI (Alliance Graphique Internationale), honorary member of AIAP (Italian Association of Creative Visual Communication), he has always worked for growth and debate on the discipline.

His brand and coordinated image of the Gran Paradiso National Park and Espace Mont Blanc; the signage system with pictograms, for animation, for the Municipality of Valtournenche; the general signs for the Courthouse of Aosta; the coordinated image of IBM Italy for the Seville Conference.

His teaching activity was also continuous as well as numerous solo exhibitions in Italy and abroad (Japan, Poland, USA, Switzerland, France, Yugoslavia, Holland, England, Finland). In 1997, together with his son Joël, he set up the communication studio Ideographia which combines traditional graphic practices with multimedia innovation.
